Assistant Accountant – URGENT HIRE

The Role

A broad, interesting mix of transactional and month‑end responsibilities, including:

• Purchase & sales ledger

• Bank reconciliations

• VAT returns

• Month‑end close support

• Recharges, data entry & general finance admin

• Supporting management accounts as your knowledge grows

You’ll play a key part in keeping the finance function running smoothly and efficiently.

About You

• Experience across purchase ledger, sales ledger, VAT, and reconciliations

• AAT studying or qualified

• Confident with Sage and Excel

• Highly organised, accurate, and methodical

• A proactive team player who enjoys being part of a smaller, ambitious business

• Comfortable rolling up your sleeves and getting involved

• Able to start within the next 4 weeks (ideal)
