Job Description:

Customer Service Supervisor – Sheffield – £34,000 - £38,000 (Hybrid)

Chase & Holland are proud to be working with a global manufacturing and distribution business in the Sheffield area who are currently seeking an enthusiastic and professional Customer Service Supervisor to join their passionate and dedicated team.

Customer Service Specialist Responsibilities:

• Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, coaching, and employee development.
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels through effective workforce planning, resource management, and succession planning.
• Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures to promote consistent service delivery, operational excellence, and compliance with organisational standards.
• Support the development and delivery of business improvement initiatives that enhance operational performance and stakeholder experience.
• Monitor, analyse, and report on operational performance, using data and insights to identify trends, drive continuous improvement, and inform decision-making.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve operational issues and ensure the effective delivery of services.
• Oversee the coordination of day-to-day operational processes, ensuring activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with agreed standards.
• Manage and resolve complex service-related issues, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to deliver timely and effective outcomes.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and customer-focused service across the team.
• Ensure compliance with relevant organisational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven customer service experience within a similar role with proven leadership experience
• Experience and knowledge of processing export orders including Incoterms
• Excellent communication skills, able to work effectively within a team and build customer relationships
• IT literate and adaptable to new software/systems such as Salesforce, SAP, Sage etc
