Deputy Manager – Children's Residential Home
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per year (depending on experience)

Are you an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker or Deputy Manager looking for your next career move? We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established children's residential care provider for a Deputy Manager to join a supportive team in Sheffield.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality care and supporting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home.

The Role
As Deputy Manager, you will:

• Support the Registered Manager with the overall management of the home.
• Lead, motivate and develop the staff team.
• Ensure the home delivers outstanding care and achieves positive outcomes for children and young people.
• Promote safeguarding, therapeutic care and person-centred support.
• Assist with audits, compliance, supervisions and staff development.
• Build positive relationships with external professionals, families and stakeholders.

Shift Pattern
The Deputy Manager role may vary depending on the home's requirements. It is expected to include:

• Two consecutive care shifts per week.
• 8 hours of dedicated administration time each week.

Requirements

• Previous experience within a children's residential home.
• Experience as a Senior Residential Support Worker or Deputy Manager.
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (essential).
• Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification (or willingness to work towards) desirable.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and relevant legislation.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
