Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - Permanent Role - Chesterfield

Salary: Average Annual Earnings £43,500+

Orbital Recruitment are currently recruiting for 4 Electrical Maintenance Engineers and Mechanical Maintenance Engineers on behalf of a leading manufacturing business based in Chesterfield.

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• Rotating 3-shift pattern:

• 6:00am - 2:30pm
• 2:00pm - 10:30pm
• 10:00pm - 6:30am

The Role:

As an Electrical  or Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining plant and production equipment, carrying out repairs, installations and supporting continuous improvement projects across the site.

Duties:

• Responding to plant and equipment breakdowns
• Planned and reactive maintenance
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding
• Electrical project work
• Equipment installations
• Working within a maintenance engineering team
• Supporting continuous improvement activities
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical Maintenance Engineer 
• Experience within manufacturing, engineering, foundry or heavy industry environments would be advantageous
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Flexible and proactive approach
• Ability to work a rotating shift pattern
• Good communication and team-working skills
