An established organisation is embarking on a major ERP transformation programme and is seeking an experienced ERP Implementation Lead to take ownership of the successful delivery of a new enterprise-wide ERP platform.

This is a high-profile role that will lead the ERP programme from design through implementation, acting as the key link between the business, technology teams and implementation partners. You will drive decision-making, champion best-practice processes and ensure the solution delivers meaningful business outcomes.

Operating at both strategic and programme-delivery level, you will:

• Lead the implementation of a new ERP platform across the organisation
• Act as the primary ERP programme lead, coordinating business, technology and third-party delivery teams
• Drive fit-to-standard adoption and challenge unnecessary customisation
• Work closely with business stakeholders to define future-state processes and operating models
• Facilitate workshops to gather requirements, resolve design decisions and build stakeholder consensus
• Manage ERP scope, priorities, risks and dependencies throughout the programme lifecycle
• Oversee system design, configuration, testing, data migration and deployment activities
• Ensure integration with key business systems including CRM, HR, finance and operational platforms
• Coordinate implementation partners and hold suppliers accountable for successful delivery
• Lead change management and user adoption activities to maximise business value
• Support training, communication and business readiness planning ahead of go-live
• Provide regular programme updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders

This role requires someone who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on programme leadership to ensure the ERP implementation is delivered on time, within scope and aligned to business objectives.

We are seeking a proven ERP delivery professional with experience leading large-scale ERP implementations within complex organisations.

You should have:

• A track record of successfully leading ERP implementations from selection or design through to go-live
• Strong experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, IFS, Microsoft Dynamics, Unit4 or similar
• Excellent understanding of business process transformation across finance, operations, procurement, supply chain or asset management functions
• Experience managing implementation partners and third-party vendors
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels of an organisation
• Experience facilitating workshops, gathering requirements and driving business decisions
• Knowledge of data migration, testing, cutover planning and change management
• Experience managing programme risks, budgets and delivery timelines
• Strong business analysis and process improvement expertise
