Job Description:

Location: South Yorkshire (UK-wide travel required at times)
Pay Rate: £20 per hour
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Groundworker / Dumper Driver to join our client, working on substation projects across the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for ongoing work with the potential to secure a permanent position. The role will be based around South Yorkshire, although working away from home may be required depending on project locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out general groundworks duties on substation projects.
• Operating a dumper safely and efficiently on site.
• Assisting with excavations, drainage, foundations and other groundwork activities.
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.
• Following site health and safety procedures at all times.
• Working as part of a team to ensure projects are completed safely and on schedule.

Requirements

• Previous experience in groundworks and dumper operation.
• Valid dumper ticket / relevant plant operator qualification.
• A strong work ethic and reliable attitude.
• Ability to work away from home when required.
• Experience working on substations or within the utilities sector would be advantageous.
• Relevant site cards and health and safety qualifications preferred.
