Job Description:

We are currently seeking experienced Groundworkers / Civils Operatives to join a major infrastructure project in Rotherham. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with substation or utilities experience to work on a long-term civils package with immediate starts available.

Working as part of an established site team, you will be involved in a range of groundworks and civil engineering activities supporting the delivery of critical infrastructure works.

Duties will include:

• Installation of surface water, foul water and oily water drainage systems

• Installation of HV and LV ducting, draw pits and precast troughs

• Excavation works and safe digging in accordance with HSG47

• Placement of blinding and concrete to foundations

• Backfilling and compaction of excavations

• Hand digging and trial hole excavation

• Vehicle marshalling and banksman duties

• Operating plant including dumpers and rollers

• General civils and groundworks activities as required

To be considered, candidates must hold:

• HSG47 Substation 2-Day Certification

• CPCS or NPORS 360 Excavator Ticket

• CPCS or NPORS Dumper Ticket

• Slinger / Signaller Certification

• Previous experience working on civil engineering, utilities, power or substation projects

• Full PPE

• £27.00 per hour

• Minimum 8 weeks' work with the potential for extension

• Immediate start available
