Job Description:

Inspire Resourcing are recruiting a h&S Officer on behalf of our client based in Derbyshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Health & Safety Professional, to join a fantastic business.

Duties:

• With the aid of the H&S Manager the successful candidate will ensure all aspects of Health, Safety are adhered to
• Alongside the H&S Manager they will also work closely with the Site Manager and Operations team to achieve site action plans
• Monitor and report Key Performance Indicators against targets and advise site team of appropriate/necessary actions required
• Liaise with Site Management team in the implementation of sites environmental and safety management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001 etc)
• Implement company policy at all times i.e. compliance with regulations and permits
• Offer guidance and support to the Site Manager and Operations Team
• Attend Monthly H&S meetings with the Site to gain knowledge of current issues affecting the production environment.
• Lead H&S meetings.
• Support the H&S Manager with all aspects of the role.

Requirements:

• ·NEBOSH National General certificate – essential
• NEBOSH Diploma (or working towards) – desirable
• ·Any environmental qualifications – desirable
• IOSH Working Safely – desirable
• National Compliance and Risk Qualifications – desirable
