Job Description:

Sue Ross Recruitment are delighted to be working on behalf of a well-established healthcare organisation to recruit an experienced and compassionate Homecare Patient Coordinator.  This is a temporary role to start as soon as possible, for at least 3 months.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and supportive team, playing a vital role in coordinating patient care services and ensuring an exceptional experience for patients, healthcare professionals, and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities are likely to include:

• Coordinating homecare patient services and treatment schedules
• Acting as a key point of contact for patients, clinicians, and healthcare providers
• Managing patient records and maintaining accurate documentation
• Liaising with internal departments to ensure the smooth delivery of services
• Making arrangements for the return of medical equipment
• Processing prescriptions in a timely manner
• Resolving patient queries in a professional and empathetic manner
• Ensuring compliance with relevant healthcare regulations and company procedures
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the team

The successful candidate will possess:

• Previous experience within a healthcare, patient services, care coordination, or customer support environment
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and patient management systems
• The ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively
• A caring, professional, and patient-focused approach
