Job Description:

Elevation Recruitment Group are partnered with a leading engineering business in Sheffield who are looking to recruit a HSE & Compliance Coordinator. This is a new role and will help support Group HSE Manager and wider team in coordinating compliance and management systems. 

This is a key group position responsible for supporting and coordinating HSE compliance activities, acting as the focal point for management systems, training coordination and audit programmes, ensuring that robust systems are maintained and that best practice is shared across all locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop the Group's ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
• Coordinate external certification and surveillance audits across five UK manufacturing sites.
• Support and collaborate with site HSE Managers to ensure consistent standards and compliance.
• Manage the Group internal audit programme and monitor corrective actions to completion.
• Coordinate HSE training requirements and maintain competency records.
• Monitor legislative requirements and support implementation of changes across the business.
• Produce reports, KPI data and compliance metrics for senior management.
• Analyse incidents, trends and audit findings to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Promote the sharing of best practice and support continual improvement initiatives.
• Provide support to the HSE Director on Group projects and strategic initiatives.

I'm keen to speak to HSE & Compliance Professionals with the following skillset:

• A strong working knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
• Internal or Lead Auditor qualifications.
• A good understanding of UK health, safety and environmental legislation.
• Strong organisational, analytical and communication skills.
• The ability to influence and build relationships across site teams.
• NEBOSH (or equivalent) and environmental qualifications would be advantageous.
