Internal Sales Executive – Electrical & MRO

Sheffield | £30,000 – £38,000 + Annual Profit Share
Full Time | Permanent

Are you an experienced Internal Sales professional looking for an opportunity where you can play a genuine part in growing a new business?

We are recruiting for a leading national industrial electrical and MRO distributor as it launches a new operation in Sheffield. This is much more than an order-processing role – you’ll work closely with the Business Manager to develop customers, build relationships and help establish the business within the local market.

The Role

As Internal Sales Executive, you’ll become a key point of contact for customers and play an active role in developing the business.

Responsibilities will include:

• Handling customer enquiries and preparing quotations

• Following up quotations and converting opportunities into sales

• Developing existing accounts and increasing customer spend

• Proactively identifying new business opportunities

• Building strong long-term customer relationships

• Providing product and commercial support

• Working closely with suppliers and the wider team

• Supporting the growth of the new Sheffield operation

About You

You’ll ideally have experience within industrial electrical distribution, electrical wholesale, mechanical distribution, MRO, engineering supplies or a closely related B2B environment.

You should be commercially minded, confident dealing with customers and proactive in identifying opportunities to develop accounts.

Previous experience within Internal Sales, Account Management, Sales Support or a similar commercial role would be ideal.
