Job Description:

Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join one of our heavy manufacturing clients in the Sheffield area.

Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias) – Manufacturing

Sheffield | £37,000- £40,000 | Monday to Friday days only!

Responsibilities:

• Reacting to breakdowns on heavy industry machinery such as furnaces, heat treatment, crushers etc

• Follow the PPM schedule to prevent downtime on the machinery

• Adhere to the health and safety policies at all times

• Liaise with production in relation to timescales of the breakdowns

• Fabrication and welding will be part of the day to day

What We’re Looking For:

• Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or time served

• Experience in a heavy manufacturing environment 

• Fault finding skill-set

This role is commutable from: Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, Doncaster, Wakefield, Worksop, Leeds, Huddersfield, Chesterfield
