About the Role

We are seeking a Mental Health Support Worker to join a recovery-focused mental health service supporting adults aged 18 and over in the Sheffield area. This role is centred around helping people experiencing mental health challenges to regain independence, confidence and stability during difficult periods in their lives. Working as part of a rota-based team, you will provide compassionate, person-centred support while helping individuals work towards their personal recovery goals.

What You'll Do

• Support individuals experiencing mental health challenges within a safe and recovery-focused environment.
• Help people maintain their independence and develop practical daily living skills.
• Work collaboratively with individuals to create and follow personalised support and recovery plans.
• Encourage and support access to education, employment, leisure and community opportunities.
• Assist with developing domestic, budgeting and tenancy-management skills.
• Build positive and professional relationships with people using the service.
• Work both independently and as part of a wider support team.
• Participate in a rota system, including evenings, weekends and on-call duties where required.
• Contribute to a supportive, respectful and empowering environment for recovery.
