• Maintain accurate financial records to support clear day-to-day accounting activity.
• Process finance information carefully and keep records organised for the Accounting & Finance department.
• Prepare routine accounting information to help colleagues review financial activity.
• Reconcile financial data and investigate differences to improve the accuracy of records.
• Update finance systems with timely, accurate information to keep reporting data current.
• Support the preparation of regular financial reports for internal use.
• Maintain well-organised accounting documentation so information is easy to locate and review.

Profile

A successful 'Assistant Accountant' should have:

• Experience handling routine accounting records and financial information.
• Confidence reconciling data and identifying discrepancies.
• The ability to process information accurately and maintain clear documentation.
• Experience preparing finance information for reporting purposes.
• A practical understanding of day-to-day accounting activities.

Job Offer

• Permanent Assistant Accountant position.
• Salary of £40,000 to £45,000, dependent on the level of experience.
• Based in Waverley.
