Job Description:

Location: Barnsley
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6:00am – 4:30pm

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Machine Operator to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Barnsley.

This Machine Operator role is ideal for someone with previous experience within the metals industry, particularly operating rolling mills and router machinery. If you're a reliable and motivated Machine Operator looking for a long-term opportunity, we'd like to hear from you.

• Operating rolling mill and router machinery safely and efficiently.
• Setting up and adjusting machinery to meet production requirements.
• Monitoring product quality and carrying out routine quality inspections.
• Working to production targets while following health and safety procedures.
• Carrying out basic machine maintenance and reporting any faults.
• Maintaining a clean and organised working environment.

• Previous experience as a Machine Operator within a metals or manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating rolling mills and router machines is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and health and safety conscious.

• Monday to Thursday, 6:00am – 4:30pm.
• Optional overtime at x1.5
• Three-day weekend every week.
